March is coming in much like February went out, with a cold morning, fog and then a mostly sunny afternoon.
But make sure to enjoy Sunday’s mostly sunny skies -- the rest of the week looks dark and wet.
The National Weather Services said highs should reach about 50 degrees Sunday after the morning fog clears. A calm wind should pick up into a west northwest of near 6 mph in the afternoon.
Overnight, the snow level is expected to drop from 2,400 feet to 1,700 feet. It should be mostly cloudy with a low of about 38 degrees and a 30% chance of rain, mostly in the early morning after 4 a.m.
The workweek will start rainy. According to the National Weather Service, the chance of precipitation on Monday is 70%, though it will mainly come after 10 a.m. Also expect a south wind of around 8 mph during the day.
Monday night rain is once again likely but the low is only expected to hit 44 degrees. A south southwest wind of about 7 mph will keep things breezy overnight.
Looking out into the week, rain is likely Tuesday and a little less likely but still possibly Wednesday and Thursday. Clouds, however, are expected both days.
