In an effort to encourage business while slowing down the spread of the new coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, restaurants in metro Phoenix have begun offering deals and discounts for delivery, takeout and curbside pickup services.
As of writing, there are more than 3,800 known cases of COVID-19 in the United States.
Arizona has yet to join the growing list of states that have ordered bars and restaurants to temporarily close during the COVID-19 pandemic. But some businesses in the Phoenix area, including Chula Seafood and Verdura, have already closed their dining rooms to focus on curbside pickup and takeout services only.
Most restaurants in metro Phoenix remain open but some have added special packages or discounts for non-dine-in services.
Delivery and takeout deals at metro Phoenix restaurants

Verdura in Phoenix, 602-283-5168: No delivery fee and no service charge.
Postino in multiple locations (excluding co-locations): Curbside pickup packages.
